Höyry-klubi sauna fire safety and happening technical guidelines

Bathing in a Höyry-klubi sauna is safe. The sauna has been heated up safely more than a hundred times for many different places and occasions. We take good care of our people so they can enjoy their sauna experience safe and undisturbed!

1. There are two well-experienced supervisors in the sauna whenever the sauna is on. The staff is highly service-oriented and fully trained in first aid.

2. The sauna tent is made of cotton and hemp canvas which has been treated with (tuotemerkki) fire deterrent.

3. As a precaution, we keep several on-hand fire extinguishers on the sauna site.

4. The stove in the sauna is a well-known, high-quality Finnish trademark Harvia to guarantee optimal fire safety.

5. The chimney of the sauna is adequately long and has been safely conducted through the tent canvas with a metal casing. The sauna does not emit sparks when heated.

6. A safety net shields the bathers from the hot stove in the sauna to prevent injuries.

7. Cold water, at least, is needed for washing up in the sauna. The water outlet should be located within a hundred meters from the tent site.

8. The sauna itself does not require drainage, but it is needed in the shower area if no infiltration mechanism is available.

9. Electricity: The power supply is 3 x 16 A.

10. The optimum space for the Höyry-klubi sauna happening is approx. 20m x 20 m = 400 m?.
